At I Rise, you are viewed as a primary field research expert of your own life.
Like all researchers, you are constantly gathering data - in the form of your thoughts, emotions, & experiences - both past and present.
When you come to therapy, you bring the data - as best you see it. Together, we'll analyze it and leverage this to your advantage. How? By using it to develop a strategic gameplan for you to grow in your everyday life.
In between sessions, you'll test it out and report back your findings (e.g. what worked and what didn't). Then, together we will improve it and keep improving it until you've found a game-winning strategy of growth for your life that only just begins as you reach your therapy goals at the end of our work together.

"Josh has been a great pillar of support in my life. He can take a problem and help you break it down to its roots to figure out a solution. He is good at recognizing and acknowledging emotion, but then helping process the feelings so you can think critically to get through anything."
"Anyone who wants an excellent therapist. Go here. He is not going to be judgmental and challenges you for the things you are honest about."
"I could not have asked for a better experience. If you have any doubts, don't, he is going to make you a better version of yourself. Don't wait, the best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, the next best time, today! Start your journey!"
"I would highly recommend Josh to anyone looking for a great therapist. Josh is knowledgeable and genuinely listens with patience. He has been a strong advocate and supportive therapist. He’s explored with me and he allows me space to navigate my own issues which is important to me. Josh hasn’t projected or avoided any tough topics so I can appreciate that too. All in all, it’s evident that Josh cares about people and helping them find resolutions."
"Josh is the man!"
"Josh is fantastic. From the second I started talking to him he was engaged in the conversation. Really understood the conversation. Best therapist I have ever had."
"Open, compassionate, insightful, and much more. Josh is the best therapist I’ve ever had and has helped me get out of a negative spiral and onto the infinitely more positive path I’m on now. Highly recommend!"
"Josh has been absolutely amazing to work with. As someone who has worked with other counselors before and did not last long with them, I can confidently say this has been an amazing eye opener to what therapy can actually be. In my past experiences, I felt that I wasn’t making any progress and that the counselors were providing me with basic information and “activities” to “help me out”. I was not feeling to confident about working with Josh as again, my previous experiences were kind of useless. After working with Josh for a few months now, I am beyond grateful I gave this another try.
I came to Josh at a very low point in my life and was struggling tremendously. Josh has absolutely changed my mindset and has helped me beyond what I expected in getting back to who I am as a person. He is the first counselor Iv worked with who does not forget any previous talking points and is always building from our previous session. Not to mention the way he connects with an individual and makes it unique to them. He has been able to use creative analogies that 1. Hit home with me so deeply and resonates with me so well and 2.makes me feel heard, understood, and provides such an amazing outlook to any situation..."
"Great counselor listens well and is always very respectful."
"After having bad counseling experiences in the past, working with Josh has been a breath of fresh air. He listens, connects, and advises in equal measure. His responses are timely, even when he needs to take extra time for longer responses, and his words have always been help when I needed it, and guidance when I was ready to grow."
